Hi Sharan, have seen many podcasts of yours on investments all those were like vannila icecream taste where we would know most of it and people were talking things already what we know most of it, this one is top-notch where it's more insightful becz this guy has validated my thinking what made them to sign the deal. your assessment that US miscalculated Iran war is totally wrong. The idea from start was to make sure Iran blocks Hormuz, destroy some of the oil production facilities followed by Naval blockade by US. This is to keep oil prices high so that US oil companies can be profitable and supplement the loss of production by GCC- this is done to keep dollardominance

If wars were launched to manipulate the stock market, they would be a very expensive way to do it.

What’s interesting is that the market has often rallied through wars, recessions, political crises, and nonstop doom predictions. Sometimes the market is pricing the next 6–12 months while we’re focused on today’s headlines.

Interesting viewpoints, however, the core arguments are technically and geopolitically flawed.
1. Labeling AI as a "bubble" oversimplifies its role as a fundamental pillar of national security. Current capital deployment is a calculated effort to maintain a competitive edge over China. Geopolitical tensions—including regional conflicts—are inextricably linked to this race for technological and AI dominance, which remains a primary driver of U.S. industrial policy.
2. Vivek conflates Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) with stablecoins, which are fundamentally different. The surveillance-heavy "programmed money" model Vivek warns of is being implemented in China (e-CNY) and is currently under debate in Europe. By contrast, the U.S. is intentionally fostering a regulated, private-sector stablecoin framework, rejecting the centralized, state-managed digital currency model.

You can sound smart ass without insulting other profession .I am a taxi driver, but I spend my days reading about stocks, economics, and world politics. I’ve done well investing and have made a lot of money in the market. A person’s job doesn’t determine their intelligence or knowledge. Curiosity and continuous learning do.

@Vivek, We need to come-out of the mindset that when you mentioned that even the taxi driver is also talking about the stocks, It is going to be disaster. This is the modern era where anyone can have an any kind of knowledge and expertise apart from their work. So, don’t be so stereotypical depending on the persons profession. Grow-up and come out of the bubble where only the rich, highly educated, popular persons are only eligible to trade and discuss about the current markets and economic situation.
