what I want to point out about people in manipur having a mentality of "sloving things within themselves" is majorly because we were left to fend for ourselves for a very long time, with no one to look to for help. There were so many times when curfews were happening for months, inflation was off the roof, people died, but there was no response from the government and national media didn't even mention it. It was as if we were closed up in a box and put aside to do with the problems whatever we please. So, coming now and telling people to listen will take more of an effort, and personally think that when trust is established between the government and the public, people will automatically listen, as they do when they believe one has their best interest in mind and will not be left to fend of themselves alone.
