I was expecting myself to join IIT when I gave JEE in 2009. More than being disappointed with myself, I remember fearing disappointing my teachers. But I remember my Chemistry teacher, Pankaj Dhanuka who told me to chin up because I had worked hard. I did get into a good college. It wasn't a big deal to clear or not clear JEE and there are many ways to live life.
These are the kind of teachers we want, the kind who inspire, not the abusive kind we find in all our schools.
