United Spirits owned RCB. When Vijay Mallya stepped down from United Spirits he was given one time settlement/severance of ₹ 515 Crores by Diageo in 2016.
So Vijay Mallya didn’t own RCB when it was sold by Diageo to the consortium led by Aditya Birla Group. As such Vijay Mallya didn’t get any proceeds in the ₹ 16,660 crore sale of RCB!
