I'm a South Indian, 43 years old. I worked in Dubai until 2018. As the eldest son, I spent almost all my Gulf earnings on my family's responsibilities—educating my two sisters, paying for their marriages, and clearing family debts. Today, both of them are well settled and financially independent. After all that, I was simply told, 'It was your duty. Now go earn again for yourself and your family.' Watching your journey of investing your Gulf earnings and becoming financially free makes me realize how important it is to also build our own future while supporting our family.
