Misuse of 498A is not isolated cases. Some surveys show more than half of those cases are false. Greedy lawyers encourage to file these cases against men so the process of going court becomes punishment itself. Thank god it became bailable because when it was non bailable offence women used this to put their husband and inlaws behind bars.
