No, we don't want this. I disagree with this because banning social media for children below 16 will not automatically solve the problems faced by young people. Social media is also used for learning, communication, educational content, and staying connected with friends and family. Instead of a complete ban, parents, schools, and the government should focus on teaching responsible and safe use of social media. Digital literacy and proper supervision can be more effective than restricting access entirely. As a 17-year-old student, I believe young people should be guided on how to use social media responsibly rather than being completely restricted from it.
