Upper middle class family currently in Bangalore. Husband, wife with kids (1 and 6 year olds). Max monthly expense is 1 lakh (including rent for flat in a gated society), focus is on saving the rest of monthly income. Keep your life simple and you will see the costs coming down. If you spend lakhs monthly for your lifestyle then no amount of money is sufficient for retirement.
