Chasing fantasy = loosing stability... if there is a symmetry with in a system and if the system is enclosed in a bigger stable system, then the rupture of symmetry in the smaller system can cause many even smaller stable systems to grow inside of it, so a break in symmetry doesnot neccessarily cause a permenant destabilization of the system, but if you destroy stability itself, then you are in for a ride...
