19:25 Bangalore is reeling in severe water shortage for years now and yet no effort is being made towards restoration of the existing lakes. There are 2 lakes in pathetic condition within 1 km of my apartment building and irony is we are surviving on costly bore-well water (high TDS), despite having Cauvery connection and paying hefty monthly bills for zero water supply!!!! Money is shown in books as invested in these lake projects, center too has given crores specifically for this, but there is NOTHING to show for it on the ground! Who is responsible for this drought in the making and why is no one being held accountable??
